40% of the World Is Unreached.

Here’s my ask, consider the facts shared below and then pray about how God would lead you to solve this problem.

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?” Romans 10:14-15

Paul said it plain and clear. For people to know Jesus there needs to be messengers sent out.

As of right now in 2023 40% of the world is without access to Christ and less than 3% of all missionaries go to these people. We’re in desperate need of missionaries to be sent out to unreached people groups so that all may hear the amazing message of Jesus Christ.

Join me in mobilizing workers to the unreached mission field.

There are about 3.2 billion people without access to the Gospel message.

And currently only 3% of missionaries and 1% of missions funds goes to the unreached people who have no access.

Why? I’d suggest it is decades of mission drift, but the issue is complicated. Consider that Barna recently found in a survey of the church in the USA that just 17% of churchgoers really know The Great Commission. Perhaps the first problem to solve is simply raising awareness of the command to make disciples and God’s heart for all to hear the Gospel. (I know… sounds obvious but stats show that this emphasis is quickly fading away)

The reality is staggering, but there are solutions.

The unreached need A massive wave of messengers to arrive.

The Big Picture and Remaining Task?

Where are all the missionaries and where are all the unreached people?

Jesus cares deeply about this and here are just two related messages from him:

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations(people Groups), baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 18:19-20

There’s simply not enough workers in unreached locations to create a self-sustaining indigenous church planting movement.

I.e. no missionaries, means no evangelism, no disciples, no groups of believers large enough to reach their own people group.

Paul said it like this,

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Romans 10:14-15

How does God feel about this reality and trend?
